Thomas Schumacher, DVM
Chief of Staff
Dr. Schumacher grew up in the area and always wanted to be a veterinarian. He holds undergraduate degrees in Zoology and History. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, his love for the area brought him back to practice veterinary medicine. He joined the Cedarburg Veterinary Clinic in 1993 as a mixed animal practitioner (working with both food animals and companion animals). After the retirement of Dr. Moats, Dr. Schumacher transferred his focus to the small animal practice. Dr. Schumacher emphasizes preventative care in small animals and is also Penn Hip certified.
In his spare time, he is a serious baseball fan, enjoys reading, traveling, volunteering at local events, and spending time with his family and dog, Libby.
